The Real Questions:
Frequently asked questions, but by no means an exhaustive list. Please reach out with any others you think of. I would love to talk and hear what you have going on!
Do you work with LGBTQIA+ couples or clients?
Not only yes, but that is a demographic I would like to prioritize. I'm a queer genderfluid person who has been lucky enough to be supported throughout my own journey, and it is a priority of mine to extend that support to others. If there is anything I can do to make your process smoother, feel free to reach out. I know a good deal of queer-friendly vendors who would take pleasure in making your day as unique and lovely as you are!
Um, what if I hate being photographed?
That's okay! I never want to push people out of their comfort zones, and my job is to document the occasion on your terms. I respect not wanting to be in front of the camera, being nervous or awkward, or needing breaks. Everything about this will be personalized to your vision, and I make sure to sit and get to know folks first, so it's a little less awkward when we get working.
When Will I See Them?!?!?
Turnaround times are a huge deal. Depending on the length and size of your shoot, I can usually have unedited pictures uploaded by the end of the day or the following evening. To be totally transparent, I have a full-time day job, so editing times may vary. For 1-3 hour shoots, I try to have the edited gallery up in two to three weeks. I try to be upfront and honest about my current workload to all my clients, but big occasions take a lot of work! Edited galleries may take up to eight to twelve weeks for weddings and full-day events
What's your set-up?
I'm working with a Sony a7iii mirrorless kit right now, my main lens is a 28-80mm 2.8 Sigma lens, but I'm looking to expand and upgrade my gear whenever I can.
Do you travel?
Yes, I love to! For anything over 40 miles from my current base of Richmond, Virginia, there will be a slight travel fee depending on the distance and any means of transport needed.

What's the best way to get in touch?
Email usually! Sometimes, Instagram DM if you're willing to take a risk, and I occasionally book by a rare psychic signal, but that's usually for friends, family, or students of the arcane arts.
What's sliding scale?
Sliding scale is an idea or way of pricing that takes into account external factors when setting a quote. I go into this more on my Pricing, Packages, and The Plan page but to break it down: times are hard and weddings are expensive. I'm willing to work with couples to find a fair quote within their budget. I've provided a wide range of discounts to clients and am happy to talk about your budget and the wedding industry in a straightforward and down-to-earth way.
How does pricing work?
Feel free to reference my Pricing, Packages, and Plan page for more information about market rates and quote options.
Do you only do weddings?
No way! I love to shake it up. I have the most experience with live music, events, and portraits, but I'm down to explore pretty much any genre of photography (and a few other mediums). Check out the rest of my portfolio here.
